🛕 Detailed Itinerary – Char Dham Yatra
Day 1: Haridwar – Barkot (180 KM / 7–8 Hrs)
Pick-up from Haridwar Railway Station, Rishikesh, or Dehradun Airport. En route, visit Kempty Falls in Mussoorie. On arrival in Barkot, check in at the hotel.
Overnight stay in Barkot.
Day 2: Barkot – Yamunotri – Barkot (36 KM drive + 6 KM trek one way)
Drive to Janki Chatti, followed by a trek to Yamunotri Temple.

Take a holy dip in Surya Kund.

Offer prayers at Yamunotri Temple, dedicated to Goddess Yamuna.
Return to Barkot.
Overnight stay in Barkot.
Day 3: Barkot – Uttarkashi (100 KM / 4–5 Hrs)
Drive to Uttarkashi, home to several ancient temples and ashrams.
Visit the sacred Kashi Vishwanath Temple on arrival.
Overnight stay in Uttarkashi.
Day 4: Uttarkashi – Gangotri – Uttarkashi (100 KM one way / 3–4 Hrs)
Early morning drive to Gangotri via the scenic Harsil Valley.

Return to Uttarkashi by evening.

Day 5: Uttarkashi – Guptkashi (220 KM / 8–9 Hrs)
Drive to Guptkashi, a town famous for its temples and views of snow-capped peaks.
En route, visit the Ardhnarishwar Temple.
Overnight stay in Guptkashi.
Day 6: Guptkashi – Sonprayag – Kedarnath (30 KM drive + 19 KM trek)
Early morning drive to Sonprayag.
From Sonprayag:

Travel 5 KM to Gaurikund by local jeep (self-paid).

Trek to Kedarnath Temple or opt for a pony/palki/helicopter.
Attend the spiritual Evening Aarti at the temple.
Overnight stay in Kedarnath.
Day 7: Kedarnath – Guptkashi (19 KM trek + 30 KM drive)
After morning darshan at Kedarnath Temple, trek back to Gaurikund and drive to Guptkashi.
Overnight stay in Guptkashi.
Day 8: Guptkashi – Badrinath (190 KM / 8–9 Hrs)
Drive to Badrinath via Joshimath.
Visit the sacred Narsingh Temple in Joshimath en route.
In the evening, attend Aarti at Badrinath Temple.
Overnight stay in Badrinath.
Day 9: Badrinath – Rudraprayag (160 KM / 6–7 Hrs)
After morning darshan at Badrinath Temple, visit:

Then drive to Rudraprayag, stopping at Vishnuprayag, Karnaprayag, and Nandaprayag on the way.
Overnight stay in Rudraprayag.
Day 10: Rudraprayag – Rishikesh – Haridwar (160 KM / 5–6 Hrs)
After breakfast, drive back to Rishikesh/Haridwar.
On arrival, drop off at the Railway Station / Airport / Hotel.
Your Char Dham Yatra concludes with blessings and cherished memories.
