🛕 Do Dham with Hemkund Sahib Itinerary

Day 1: Haridwar/Rishikesh – Sonprayag (235 KM / 8 Hrs)

Pickup from Haridwar Railway Station, Rishikesh, or Dehradun Airport. Drive through scenic hill roads to Sonprayag.
On arrival, check in at the hotel.
Overnight stay in Sonprayag.


Day 2: Sonprayag – Gaurikund – Kedarnath (5 KM drive + 16 KM trek)

Early morning:

  • Drive 5 KM to Gaurikund by shared local jeep (at your own cost).

  • Begin the trek to Kedarnath Temple (16 KM) or opt for pony/palki/helicopter.

Reach Kedarnath and attend the Evening Aarti at the temple.
Overnight stay at Kedarnath.


Day 3: Kedarnath – Gaurikund – Sonprayag

Early morning darshan of Lord Kedarnath, then:

  • Trek back to Gaurikund.

  • Drive to Sonprayag.

Overnight stay in Sonprayag.


Day 4: Sonprayag – Badrinath (220 KM / 8–9 Hrs)

After breakfast, drive to Badrinath via Joshimath.
En route, visit the sacred Narsingh Temple at Joshimath.
In the evening, visit Badrinath Temple and attend the divine Aarti.
Overnight stay in Badrinath.


Day 5: Badrinath – Mana Village – Govindghat

Start the day with early morning darshan at Badrinath Temple.
Visit:

  • Tapt Kund

  • Mana Village (the last village of India)

  • Bhim Pul on the Saraswati River

After visiting, drive to Govindghat.
Overnight stay in Govindghat.


Day 6: Govindghat – Ghangaria (14 KM Trek / 6–8 Hrs)

After breakfast, begin the 14 KM trek to Ghangaria, the base for Hemkund Sahib.
Camping is not allowed in the Valley of Flowers or Hemkund Sahib, so all accommodations are in Ghangaria.
Overnight stay in Ghangaria.


Day 7: Ghangaria – Hemkund Sahib – Ghangaria (11 KM Round Trip)

Start your trek early morning to Hemkund Sahib (5.5 KM one way).

  • Offer prayers at this stunning Sikh pilgrimage site located at an altitude of 4,329 meters.

  • After darshan, return to Ghangaria by evening.
    Overnight stay in Ghangaria.


Day 8: Ghangaria – Govindghat – Pipalkoti

Trek down to Govindghat (14 KM).
From there, drive to Pipalkoti and check into your hotel.
Overnight stay at Pipalkoti.


Day 9: Pipalkoti – Rishikesh – Haridwar (160 KM / 5–6 Hrs)

After breakfast, begin the return journey to Rishikesh / Haridwar.
On arrival, drop off at the Railway Station / Airport / Hotel.
